If you like to play golf, you will certainly find a beautiful course for a game of golf.   We have traditional courses, par 3 golf courses, a desert setting, private courses, membership courses, courses you can drive your golf cart to or whatever, you will certainly find one that suits you just right.

Our deserts are beautiful.

Seeds can sit on the desert for years.  Winter rains will sprout them and they cover our desert floor with beautiful colors of spring.  The desert is a remarkable place.

February is the month that brings Pro Rodeo cowboys to our town.  It starts on a Thursday with a totally non motorized parade through some of our city streets.   All floats must be drawn by house or mules. It then continues to the parade grounds where the first round of competition begins. The competition continues till the finals on Sunday.  The rodeo brings lots of people to our town, not to mention all the cowboys!  It is a great experience.  The horses are beautiful and the cowboys and cowgirls put on a great show. Plan to join us sometime.
